Not Practicing Enough

Many couples underestimate how much time it takes to feel comfortable dancing. Practicing consistently, even just 15 minutes a few times a week, can make a big difference.

Choosing an Overly Complex Routine

Unless you’re both experienced dancers, keep the choreography simple. Overcomplicating the routine can add unnecessary stress.

Forgetting to Smile

Your facial expressions matter just as much as your steps. If you look nervous, your guests will notice. Smile, relax, and enjoy the moment.

Not Communicating with Your Partner

Dancing is about connection. Make sure you and your partner communicate and are in sync. If one of you forgets a move, just go with the flow.

Ignoring the Dance Floor Size

Every venue is different. Rehearse in a space similar in size to your wedding dance floor to avoid surprises.
